JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a vibrant and dynamic hospitality environment? Do you have a flair for leadership, a keen interest in the hospitality industry and experience managing a diverse team of people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Assistant Manager at our pub in Hornsby!


 

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and motivate the front-of-house staff, ensuring a positive and energetic team atmosphere.

  • Assist in staff training and development to maintain and improve service standards.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently provided.

  • Create a welcoming and warm environment for all patrons visiting the venue.

  • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily pub operations, including opening and closing procedures.

  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock rotation.

  • Collaborate with the management team to implement efficient processes including rostering, BOH procedures, event-organisation and marketing activities.

Quality Control:

  • Uphold the highest quality standards for food and beverages.

  • Monitor cleanliness and the venues presentation to create an inviting atmosphere.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
